friday x 200608









company hosted a staff appreciation dinner @ NUSS,
most of the staff were there. and i can say everyone enjoyed themselves.
i enjoyed myself; drinking, makan-ing, and laughing at people. LOL !
after the buffet dinner, where the GM made a short speech,
and following which something funny happened - the yum seng session!
i got a shock can ! lol. why would someone wanna start a yum seng session.
i felt the atmosphere wasnt right.
at the corner of my eyes,i see some colleagues had
funny (wierd) expressions on their faces. hhaha !

nevertheless i knew everyone had fun. great time to mingle around too.
after dinner, the few of us proceeded to the K room.
an enjoyment to sip wine, and listen to songs.
funny things happened too, and my dear boss and i couldnt stop giggling. LOL :p

ohh and did i mention this:
dinner was great because i didnt have to use my hands to peel off prawns yet could enjoy them. yummy ! because my boss peeled them for me. LOL !

i'm a lucky employee to have such a nice, caring, funny, and so-dote-on-me boss!

i left at 9+pm to attend a wake - jo's daddy wake.
a totally different kind of feelings took over me, as i cabbed to her place.
i dread attending wakes because i could never find the right words to console.
and i know nothing i say can heal the pain and dry the tears of the family.
however i know my presence will make a difference.
a hug, a squeeze on her shoulders and hands; i'm sure she feels it.

life is really so fragile, as i looked at her daddy,
i start to tear. and i told myself i have to cherish my parents,
my friends, and all my loved ones.
every single moment.
every passing day.
everyday i wake up, i thank God that i'm breathing.
and thank Him for the wonderful people around me.

another meetup with my twintwin.
this time round, our meeting place = orchard.
and we went to Dome cafe for snacks and to a pizza place (name?) for dinner.
the atmosphere was nice, the setting was romantic.
she passed me a box of cookies that she bake. yumyum!
following which i passed her the big project i have been working for the past week.
she looked surprised, and elated.
i didnt snap pictures of the pressie i gave her,
shall wait for her to snap and send me. hehe !

dear twinn, hope you heart the pressie.
filled with lots and lots of love.

and of course we couldnt have end the day without lots of snapping right.

at night, bf called me and we chatted awhile.
he said he had to wake up at 5am the next day for training.
i looked at the clock, its almost twelve midnight.

he : dear, i havent pack my things for tomotrrow's training.
me : huh, i thought you pack hao le, so called me to chat. in that case u go pack.
he : i'm tired and havent pack, but i miss you so call you first.
me : - feeling sweet - dear you go and pack first okay, i dun wanna u to be tired.

end of conversation,
and before he sleep he send me a lovey dovey message.
